Details The PL-B872 uses a 2\/3\" format 1.45 megapixel Sony progressive scan sensor that provides a maximum image resolution of 1392 x 1040 with a frame rate of 15 fps. The enhanced sensitivity of the ILT CCD sensor combined with low dark current, low smear and excellent anitblooming result in low noise images with excellent color reproduction. Support for 8-bit, 10-bit and 12-bit digitization further improves image quality. Providing high-resolution imaging capability for both bright field and dark field microscopy, PixeLINK®'s 800 series microscopy cameras are an excellent choice for use in:","Added flexibility is offered through this camera's support for multiple software interfaces. Included with all PixeLINK® microscopy camera kits is the PixeLINK® µScope software package, a full-featured image acquisition and processing application. Using a PixeLINK® Microscopy software package, users can view live video, capture, save images, annotate, and measure on live or captured images as well as archive data in a database. Additional functionality can be found in Capture OEM, a free download provided by PixeLINK® designed to showcase the full functionality of the camera. Capture and save AVI movies, set user-defined Region of Interests (ROI), and save descriptors to either the host system or the camera itself is made simple.
